A new set of images showing the alleged design of the forthcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 6 was leaked today by Weibo user dreamerJimmy (via Gforgames). What’s more interesting is that the device appears in the hand of a Taiwanese star (actor and singer) known as Jimmy Lin, who had previously shared images of the iPhone 5c weeks before the official announcement.
We understand the actor’s excitement for the next-generation Apple devices as he compares the iPhone 6 with the iPhone 5s. The same Weibo user posted an image showing the front of the device, and, as you can see, there are some notable changes.
For example, the bezels appear to be much thinner, and the home button has moved closer to the bottom of the display compared to that of the iPhone 5s. Also, the hole for the front camera seems to be larger – maybe a camera upgrade, as rumoured? – while the rear shell is in line with previous leaks.
DreamerJimmy has proven to be a reliable source of Apple leaks, but since we cannot confirm the authenticity of the above images, they still have to be taken with a grain of salt.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 6 in two sizes this fall, and rumour has it the device will feature a sapphire glass screen among other notable updates.

By this it would appear that the Apple logo cut out is just to inlay different colour logo such as the iPad and not to actual light up … Which I think is better.
Regardless, it still looks like crap.

I don’t get it, I thought and all metal back was a problem with the antenna? Or they would of made them look like the ipods and macbooks long ago
Exactly. As much as I like to deny them until Tim Cook (or Phil) presents them on stage, these leaks are probably the real deal. But those stripes and the antenna issues are the reason why I just can’t seem to wrap my head around it. But who knows, maybe Apple found a way? But that still leaves these extremely hideous, non-Apple styled stripes….
yeah if they become true, you know what color I would get, black. But then again I have the 5s so I won’t be getting the 6 anyway
I have the 5, and has been looking forward to the 6 since 5s. I guess I’ll have to keep my fingers crossed. Have to say, I’m quite disappointed with the amount of leaks from Apple, and that they’re not doing anything about it. The excitement level dropped tremendously for me.
I agree, whether Cook doesn’t seem to care or its just to hard to keep the lid on things without draconian methods at their Chinese plants I am not sure. Maybe, they were more afraid of Jobs.
If true, it is horribly ugly. I am surprised that he is able to show it off as he would have had to sign a confidentiality contract. Careless of Apple if it is the 6.
