Future Shop’s iPhone 6 Pre-Orders Start Sept. 12, Includes Accessories Promo [u]

In line with previous iPhone launches, Future Shop (and Best Buy too—waiting for confirmation) has announced it will be taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, starting on Friday, September 12.

Pre-orders will be available for customers on Rogers, Telus, Bell, Fido and Virgin Mobile.

But wait—there’s more! The company tells us pre-orders in store will also include a promo for 20% off mobile accessories. So if that interests you, Future Shop might be the place to go.

Based on what we’ve seen last year with the iPhone 5s launch, pre-ordering at Future Shop versus your local carrier has been an easier, faster and more seamless process at times.

Customers will most likely have to pay a $50 deposit again and will be called when their choice of iPhone arrives. While last year resulted in shortages, Best Buy handed out $50 gift cards for the inconvenience–a nice touch.

Let us know if you’re going to reserve your iPhone 6 from Future Shop this year.  Rogers, Fido, Telus and Bell will have their pre-orders start tomorrow as well.

Update: As expected, Best Buy has the same promo too, the company just told us:
