Tbaytel Launching LTE Network in Thunder Bay in 2015 and More [LIST]

Tbaytel has announced their LTE network will launch in Thunder Bay in February of 2015, with future expansion plans to reach Dryden, Fort Frances and Kenora areas throughout next year, starting in April 2015. The carrier says for customers those outside these initial areas, they will be able to roam on the Rogers LTE network.

The carrier’s website has launched a free Tbaytel LTE SIM card sign up form, so customers can order a SIM card and have it shipped to them. Sign ups before December 31, 2014 will receive SIM cards in mid-February and late March 2015. If you aren’t in a rush, authorized dealers will get LTE SIM cards in February 2015.

With Tbaytel’s upcoming LTE network, it provides the carrier with ammunition to compete with Bell’s existing LTE network in the region.

Tbaytel launched sales of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus back in late September, so these customers and existing iPhone 5/5S users should be excited for LTE coming soon.
