Martin Hajek has recently shared a couple of new design concepts titled ‘iPhaser’ and ‘iCorder’ for a future Star Trek movie, inspired by Apple. With Apple design chief Jony Ive inspiring light sabre design in the upcoming Star Wars movie, Hajek imagines what would happen if the same happened for Star Trek, since the latter has been similarly directed by J.J. Abrams.

So keeping that in mind, Hajek has imagined what if Ive gave tips on some Star Trek props as well. Transforming the Star Trek:TNG Tricorder into an iCorder, the device comes with features like isolinear chips, a dockable medical tricorder. And best of all, it runs all your favorite iOS apps. Similarly, when the Star Trek:TOS phaser becomes an iPhaser, it comes with a changeable leather strap, touch-screen control to finetune your stun-settings and much more!
