Tapbots has released an update for Tweetbot for Mac, with version 2.0 now available in the Mac App Store for $14.99 CAD (existing users get this as a free update). This new version brings the app up to date with design for OS X Yosemite.

This version brings support for Twitter’s latest features such as posting GIFs, embedded videos, posting multiple photos and also sharing your location. Tweetbot for Mac is a popular Twitter for Mac replacement. For casual Twitter users like ourselves, browser-based Hootsuite works best for our workflow. But for Twitter junkies and fans of Tweetbot, this looks to be the app for you.

The app normally is $20 USD but it’s on sale right now as a promotion for version 2.0’s launch.
