Apple announced new iPhone Lightning Docks at their recent “Hey Siri” special event. What’s new about these docks is the availability of four new metallic colours to match this year’s iPhones: silver, space grey, gold and rose gold.
So what does this mean? Your new iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus will now have a matching Lightning Dock, that’s all. You may recall Apple released a new iPhone 6 supported Lighting Dock earlier this spring (read our review here).
This time around, due to our lower Canadian dollar, the price has increased from $49 CAD to $59 CAD. So it’s going to cost you a bit more this time around, just like the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. While the price may seem hefty, this accessory remains one of our favourites for the iPhone.

If Apple included their 6 foot cable with this, I would have been all over it. Throw us a bone every now and then… Geez. We are already dishing out $1000+ for your phones that cost $240 to make.

anyone broken one of these yet? With the entire phone being supported through the lightning port it seems like it would be easy to snap that lightning connector right off?
