Bell Starts Selling CraveTV Gift Subscriptions for the Holidays

With the recent closure of Rogers’ video streaming service Shomi, Bell is making a strong push for its own streaming service.
An email sent to us by Bell Media reveals that the Canadian carrier has started offering CraveTV in increments of 3, 6, and 12 months at cravetv.ca/gift. The streaming service packages cost $23.97, $47.94, and $79.90 for the 3, 6, and 12-month options respectively. This provides a discount of roughly 15 percent over the standard monthly rate.
In a statement, President of the Distribution and Pay division at Bell Media said:
“We continue to believe that CraveTV has an unmatched value proposition in Canada, as it continues to build its library including access to rich HBO and SHOWTIME programming and more. These new flexible and dynamic purchasing options offer each subscriber the opportunity to choose the plan that’s right for them, including a fantastic discount on a 12-month subscription.”
Bell says that the three packages will be a perfect gift for streamers this holiday season. Consumers will be able to access the streaming service via the web, or apps on iOS, Android, Windows mobile, Apple TV, Chromecast, Xbox One, and on select Samsung Smart TVs.
