AirPods Have Shipped in Canada, Some Delivering Ahead of Schedule
Apple is really toying with the emotions of people who want AirPods. After delaying the wireless headphones for two months because they weren’t ready for sale, the company surprisingly launched online pre-orders earlier this week.
A couple days ago, some early orders saw their delivery dates delayed to beyond Christmas, scaring a few people who ordered them as gifts, but the situation quickly resolved itself.
Now, early preorders, which started shipping yesterday, are seeing delivery dates ahead of schedule. Our order was placed on December 13th at 6:01AM PST with delivery date of December 23rd. But now it appears our order will arrive three days earlier on December 20th, based on FedEx tracking.

I wish I woke up earlier and was able to order them sooner. Mine still says delivery by Jan 5th.
I didn’t realize they used FedEx. I’ve only ever seen UPS, but I’m in Ontario.
It takes a village (of courier partners) to deliver Apple products on Launch Day.
My delivery date is Dec 20th and as far as I know it never changed but my tracking only shows “ready for UPS”. It does say it’s coming from Burlington, ON which is only about 2 hours away from where I live so I was hoping it might be here earlier.
I just returned from Yorkdale Apple Store in Toronto and was first in line for the AirPods, 45 minutes before store opening. 2 per person. There were only about 8 people in line for them.

Just received mine this morning, a day early since originally 20th!
Did it show in your tracking that the truck was out for delivery? Mine doesn’t show it.
Was expecting it tomorrow but since it arrived today, didn’t even check tracking. Just pleased it arrived early. Connected very easily (left was 80% right was 90% charged), listened, sounds great and then charged it up fully.
Nice! Mine shows a delivery for tomorrow, but it was at Concord since yesterday, so I am hoping UPS will deliver it today. I’m just wondering if you could check your tracking and see if it ever showed “on the truck for delivery”, because mine doesn’t. 🙁
This is what it did say, “Concord, ON, Canada 12/19/2016 6:00 Out for Delivery”.

Yes, early this morning it showed as “Out for Delivery”, and that it had arrived at the UPS Concord distribution centre just outside of Toronto.

Okay something really weird is going on. AirPods were supposed to deliver today, arrived in the city, but then Apple requested they be returned and never made it to my door. Anyone else? #YYJ
hopefully I’m not in the same boat… I’m working in St. Hyacinthe (near Montreal)… so I’ve used my work address as the shipping address. Package was supposed to be delivered by UPS today before 5pm… I’ve left the office after 5pm without seeing the UPS delivery truck… tracking info still shows city of Lachine as the last location (the UPS sort center in Lachine).
I’ve called UPS around 4pm… and they said that package was out for delivery even if the website wasn’t showing this information. The person was rude and apparently clueless…
Update: called Apple and they resolved the issue. AirPods being diverted BACK to me…more waiting now #firstworldproblems

UPS doesn’t have a clue of what is going on with my package…
tracking still says in transit which doesn’t make any sense.
So far, nothing canceled on my side… but my hopes are not very for tomorrow.
