$50/month (save $9/mo)

  • 8GB LTE data (6GB + 2GB)

If you’re in areas of good LTE coverage from Freedom Mobile, these are decent offers. All we are waiting for is an iPhone that will support AWS Band 3 LTE.

Freedom Mobile says these deals are only available in-store for new activations only, however one user on RFD was able to switch to the plan as an existing user, so your mileage may vary.

Tempting to switch over to the $50 even from my new $75/10gb plan. I like the inclusion of US data in the plan. I will be getting the next iPhone too, which should hopefully support their LTE. How does their LTE compare? Anyone able to link me to a comparison?

How does Trump compare to Obama? The plan offer will be over by the time the next iphone comes out and you’ll be stuck using slow 3G speeds. Does that sound like a good deal to you?

Once more phones come out supporting AWS 3 then Wind, I mean FM network will be be saturated and you’ll hear most customers complaining about poor LTE speeds.

So basically you have nothing to offer me to prove any or your claims? You just randomly make a comparison to presidents and randomly attack freedoms LTE without anything to back it up. If you think that robelus doesn’t have milllions of devices accessing their LTE than you are a idiot. My question is still how does freedoms LTE compare to robelus?

I’d give them a call and see if they let you switch to the $40/6GB plan and add $10/3GB. That’s basically $50/9GB instead of what they promo. It maybe too late for me to do that since I just started a month ago with them.

Definitely beats my Rogers legacy plan of $80/month (after discounts) for4 GB data.

Does it now? Are you stuck on 3G on Rogers because your phone doesn’t support AWS LTE?

That’s a lousy legacy plan. Most legacy plans with Rogers are $60 or $70 with 6 GB of data.

No mention of how long can you keep this plan/pricing for. One year?

The terms & conditions on the website say you can keep the plan (including the bonus data) as long as you keep your account in good standing.
