macOS Mojave: Software Update Moves to System Preferences Instead of Mac App Store
Every time a newly released beta of Apple’s software is made available for developers, they pour through and dig up the gems and obvious new features.
For macOS Mojave announced today WWDC, Apple has changed where Software Update is located. It has now moved from the Mac App Store to System Preferences, as seen below (as shared by one Reddit user).

With the Mac App Store getting a total makeover, removing macOS software updates seems like a logical move, so the newly revamped store can focus on developer apps and updates instead.
