Apple is set to kick off their Gather Round special event today, set to unveil a trio of new iPhone models and a larger Apple Watch. Here’s a recap of how you can live stream today’s iPhone Xs event on your iPhone, Mac, Windows and more.
To watch Apple’s live stream, there are certain requirements, according to the company’s website:
This stream is best experienced on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using Safari on iOS 10 or later; a Mac using Safari on macOS Sierra 10.12 or later; or a PC using Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Streaming to Apple TV via AirPlay requires an Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with the latest Apple TV software or tvOS. Other platforms may also be able to access the stream using recent versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC required).
What time does the Apple iPhone event start in Canada?
If you’re on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, just visit the special event page here using Safari on iOS 10 or later.
If you’re on a Mac, you’ll need macOS Sierra 10.12 or later and the company’s Safari browser.
If you’re on a PC, you can view if you have Microsoft’s Edge browser on Windows 10.
If you’re on an Apple TV 2 or later, you can stream via AirPlay or watch from the Apple TV events channel.
If you’re on the latest versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC required), you can stream the event as well from the event page.
If you’re on Twitter, just ‘like’ Apple’s tweet below and you’ll be notified when the live stream starts, which will be viewable on the social network for the first time.
