Earlier this month, Telus sub-brand Public Mobile rebranded itself with a new logo, website and slogan. The day after, it announced it was gifting a 1GB add-on of data free for all eligible customers.
Last Friday, it started texting eligible customers to let them know this free one-time add-on would be added this week. Those eligible are customers with an active account as of August 19, 11:59PM ET, and remain active until September 4, 2019.
This morning, at 11:55AM PDT, Public Mobile texted customers the following:
Here’s some free data love from Public Mobile. We’ve added a one-time 1GB to your account. No strings attached. Check it out at selfserve.publicmobile.ca
Those logging into Public Mobile self-service on the web can see the free data noted as “1GB Promo” in their account details.
