macOS Catalina Release Date October 4, Claims Apple’s Danish Website

Macos catalina launch date

Apple so far has released iOS 13, iPadOS 13, tvOS 13 and watchOS 6. The only missing software release is macOS Catalina, which we only know is coming sometime in October.

Now, we may have a hint of a specific launch date for macOS Catalina, which could be coming on Friday, October 4, if Apple’s Danish website is to be believed, reports MacRumors.

Apple’s Danish website notes the October 4 date on a section detailing Apple Arcade. The translation reads, “Exceptional gaming experiences. Find it in the App Store starting October 4.”

Last year, Apple released macOS Mojave on Monday, September 24, while macOS High Sierra was released on Monday, September 25 in 2017.

With this year’s unorthodox iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS and macOS release schedule, the tick-tock release dates from yesteryear may no longer apply.

In order for Macs to play Apple Arcade, macOS Catalina is required. As we head into October next week, we’ll find out if this rumour is true or not.
