iPhone 12 64GB Model Said to be Confirmed, Apple Event to Take Place on October 13th
Apple will reportedly have a 64GB iPhone 12 model in the mix. Apple leaker Jon Prosser has also stated that Apple will reveal the new line of devices on October 13th.
Leading into Apple’s official announcement of the iPhone 12, it has been widely believed that the entry-level storage of the devices would be 128GB. Now, Jon Prosser has taken to Twitter to break down some additional specs of the iPhone 12 and lower-end iPhone (dubbed iPhone 12 Mini), both of which are expected to release in October.
Prosser has recently said the iPhone 12, which will have a 6.1-inch display, will come in 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. The entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini will also be available with 64GB/128GB/256GB storage. Prosser also says the finalized units will begin shipping to distributors on October 5th, readying themselves for the October 13th event.

Apple is said to have two other iPhone 12 variants, expected later this year. The Pro models, one being another 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and a 6.7-inch model, are still expected to ship in November, aligning with previous reports. Prosser tweeted a follow up to an inquiry on the base iPhone 12 models. He expanded on his thoughts and added that the Pro models will “start at 128GB”.
Yep. That info was given well before even the PVT iPhone 12 units had started.
Final units of iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 are DEFINITELY 64/128/256
iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max start at 128GB

Apple is expected to unveil the full iPhone 12 lineup during the October virtual event. Rather than release all devices at once, the company will likely take a staggered approach, similar to 2017’s staggered release of the iPhone X.
