#AppleEvent ‘Hashflag’ Goes Live on Twitter Ahead of Next Week’s Special Event

Earlier today, Apple announced it was set to hold a special event, set for Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Ahead of the event, the #AppleEvent hashflag went live on Twitter this afternoon. A hashflag is custom Twitter tag followed by an accompanying graphic, which we can see above is the image from Apple’s special event invite.
The tagline for Apple’s special event is ‘spring loaded’, a play on the timing of the event and possibly more.
What will Apple announce at its spring event? It’s likely we will see the debut of new iPad Pro models, and possibly new spring colours for iPhone cases. We’re cutting it close to the online streaming event next week, so we won’t have to wait long to hear about Apple’s latest goodies.
