
Rogers announced on Thursday morning its Ignite TV and Ignite SmartStream customers can now stream Spotify Free and Premium.
Customers can just say “Spotify” into the Ignite Voice Remote to access the Spotify app to start streaming over 70 million tracks and 2.6 million podcast titles. The Spotify app joins other streaming music apps available on Ignite TV and Ignite SmartStream hardware, such as Amazon Music, YouTube, XITE and “more coming soon”, says Rogers.
The Rogers SmartStream streaming platform is only available for customers in Ontario, New Brunswick or Newfoundland.
