Public Mobile vs Lucky Mobile vs Chatr vs Fizz: Best Prepaid Plans – October 2026

We’ve covered flagship plans from Rogers, Telus and Bell for October, along with the plans from flankers Fido, Koodo and Virgin Plus. Now, let’s take a look at Big 3 prepaid flankers for October.
Lucky Mobile, Chatr and Fizz, meanwhile, have not moved a dollar. Here is the full prepaid picture for October 2026, compared with our September roundup, with prices in CAD per month and after autopay.

This month we aren’t seeing changes from Lucky Mobile either (yet). These prices are of course for bring your own device and after autopay. What is new is the Lucky Mobile logo on its website now has a “by Bell” tag in the bottom right-hand corner. That’s the first time we’ve seen a prepaid flanker brand identify its parent company.
Chatr
- $21/1GB
- $25/5GB
- $30/15GB
- $35/30GB with Auto-Pay
- $159/year for 40GB
Rogers-owned Chatr is unchanged as well for its plans.
Fizz

Fizz also did not change its pricing and data, but we’re seeing the $20 to $28 plans are back to 4G, whereas last month everything was 5G.
With Black Friday coming in late November, it will be interesting to see what promos will come our way for prepaid. Stay tuned.
