Apple has finally added a profile for Stella Low, hired back in May as its Vice President of Worldwide Corporate Communications, to the Apple Leadership website (via 9to5Mac).

The role was previously held by Steve Dowling, who was named to the position in 2015 after serving as a temporary replacement for longtime Apple PR chief Katie Cotton following her retirement. Dowling eventually took the job full-time, but parted ways with Apple in the fall of 2019 after 16 years at the company.

After Dowling’s departure, Apple Fellow and former Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing Phil Schiller managed public relations for the iPhone maker in the interim. Stella Low, ex-Chief Communications Officer at Cisco, took up the mantle earlier this year.

The Apple Leadership website lists Low as the “Vice President of Communications”, noting that she reports directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Stella Low is Apple’s vice president of Communications, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. She is responsible for Apple’s worldwide communications strategy, leading the public relations team as well as employee communications.

According to Low’s profile, she will not only spearhead Apple’s global communications strategy and its public relations efforts, but will also be overseeing employee communications.
