For those that recently left Rogers for another wireless provider, check out the most recent ‘winback’ plan being offered to former customers, in an attempt to bring them back to the company.
According to details shared on RFD, the latest Rogers ‘winback’ plan is in the form of a $35/12GB plan for 24 months with 1,000 long distance minutes. This plan is actually $45 per month but has a $10 credit for 24 months and does not support 5G.
The plan has no contract and the activation fee is waived, and credited back on your second bill. The plan includes unlimited Canada-wide calling and text and picture messages, along with the usual extras such as voicemail, call forwarding, call display and more.
RFD user ‘swap102’ says they previously were on Virgin’s $40/10GB plan in Ontario.
Another user confirmed they received a similar ‘winback’ plan about a month ago, but it did not include the 1,000 long distance minutes; however their offer did include $300 bill credits towards the activation of a new device.
The closest thing to this plan on the Rogers website is a $55/10GB plan with 5G, but only available as a second line add-on.
The number used by Rogers for calling customers was seen as 437-886-3315. This is one of those ‘your mileage may vary’ situations, so this offer may not be available for everyone.
