After releasing iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 Release Candidate on Tuesday, Apple has quickly released iOS 15.6 and iPadOS RC 2 for developers on Friday, suggesting the final release for all iPhone and iPad users is imminent.
Apple pushed out build 19G71 of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 RC 2, which likely contains last-minute bug fixes and performance improvements. As for a release date, possibly expect a final release for early next week.
