Called “Launcher iOS 16,” a copycat iOS launcher app that recreates the iOS experience on Android smartphones has now surpassed 50 million downloads on Google Play, as noted by MacRumors.
The launcher adds an iOS-like dock, Force Touch menus on apps, App Library, iOS-styled widgets, and even a “jiggle mode.”
It even replaces default Android app icons with iOS icons, such as Messages, Notes, Camera, and even swaps the Google Play icon with an App Store icon.

The most prominent change to iOS 16, the redesigned Lock Screen, could also have given the app additional exposure.
The widespread coverage of the new Lock Screen may have prompted additional downloads for the launcher from users eyeing to try out Apple’s latest design. Unfortunately, this launcher does not sport the iOS 16 Lock Screen, at least not yet.
There are dozens of other launcher apps on Google Play that promise to recreate the iOS experience on Android, and each of them has over a million downloads.

I don’t get it. Isn’t the reason to go to Android because they don’t like iOS?
Hell no. It’s cost above all else.
No, its access to tweaked apps, i used an iPhone from 2017 till 2019 and switched to samsung, still prefer how ios looks but thats not enough for me because i love using apps that allow me to do more than the original ones do, for example discord themes, or youtube full amoled black mode, or twitter with different colors and no ads + download button for videos and so on, not to mention some smaller things that android has like closing all apps. Point is, not all users are your typical idiot thats always at war saying that one is better than the other one
