Telus-owned Koodo has a “major Black Friday sale online” right now, offering up an Apple iPhone 11 for $0 on Tab for 24 months, with a $45/50GB Tab plan.
Koodo’s Tab is normally the device balance that you need to repay over 24 months. Various Tab tiers require a minimum monthly plan, depending on how much your Tab balance is.
In this case, either a Tab Plus or Tab Mid is showing you’ll pay $0/month for 24 months for this iPhone 11, as you’ll be getting a $698 Tab Bonus.
There’s a $5 SIM card charge online and Koodo says this deal is available for new and existing customers.
The plan of $45/50GB is actually the company’s $65/month plan, but with a $20 bill credit for 24 months. After two years the plan will jump back to $65/month at month 25. You will see at check out your $20 bill credit being applied. Just pick the $65/50GB plan and proceed to check out with an iPhone 11.
Koodo says if you cancel your service before your 24-month Tab period is over you’ll need to repay the existing balance for the iPhone 11.
This is a decent deal if you want a free iPhone 11 and you’re willing to pay $45/month for 24-months. Maybe for the kiddos in your life?

It appears this plan is available with other phone too. Can anyone confirm? It does appear that the -$20 off is hidden on the. monthly billing but it’s clear from the fine print that it should apply.
I think I saw the Samsung Galaxy A53 is free with this plan.

I don’t think you get the $65 plan less the $20 monthly discount, plus a free phone. It appears that you have to sign up for the $65 plan and get a free phone. My order summary shows the $65 plan, then a charge for the iPhone 11, then a credit equal to the iPhone 11 charge. It is not showing an additional $20 monthly credit on the $65 plan. Has anyone actually received both the monthly plan credit in addition to a free iPhone 11? If so, how did you do that!

OK so I was able to successfully pull the trigger on this Koodo deal for my parents. You add the iPhone 11 to your cart, choose the $65/50GB plan and check out. It will show a summary of free iPhone 11 and $22.40 credit for 24 months, essentially paying $65+tax (12%) – $22.40 credit, for $50.40 per month.
