iOS 18 to Bring Major Control Center Redesign for Customization: Report

With Apple’s WWDC keynote less than one week away, we’re bound to hear more leaks about what might be in store for next versions of the company’s software.
iOS 18 is expected to be a huge revamp and now MacRumors is reporting some details it is hearing about Control Center, set for a big redesign. Unnamed sources say Apple is testing a redesigned version of Control Center that will bring a customizable layout. Users would be able to drag and drop controls to make organizing it much easier.
Right now, you can customize Control Center but you need to go through the Settings menu in iOS. Control Center is accessed by swiping down from the upper right on an iPhone X or newer (iPhone SE and 8 and older swipe up from bottom edge of screen), bringing quick access to controls such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen brightness and more.
It would be nice if Apple would let us customize the Lockscreen shortcuts, besides having just flashlight and Camera access (although those are pretty darn handy as top picks).
Apple will be unveiling the next versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS at its WWDC keynote on June 10. Let’s hope Apple and surprise and delight us again.
