How to Install iOS 18 Beta on iPhone

Today, Apple previewed iOS 18 at WWDC, set to debut this fall, likely alongside new iPhones.
Ahead of the release, iOS 18 beta and more have been made available for developers.
“Customize your iPhone in more ways than ever, stay connected with friends and family, and relive your favorite moments. And with Apple Intelligence, the things you do every day become even more magical,” is how Apple explains iOS 18.
How to install iOS 18 on your iPhone? First, you should only do so on a secondary device, as usually the first beta builds are very buggy. Not only that, many apps won’t have support for iOS 18 so if you need banking apps or something else, it may be broken after the upgrade. That’s your fair warning.

If you’re ready to accept the risks, you can install iOS 18 beta on your iPhone as follows:
Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates
Step 2: Tap on “iOS 18 Developer Beta” option. Then tap “Back”.
Step 3: You’ll see iOS 18 beta available and then tap “Update Now” to install it. It’s a pretty big update at nearly 7GB so it will take some time to install.
Once it has installed, have fun playing around with iOS 18. The Passwords app is actually really good.
Also, the following iPhones will support iOS 18:
- iPhone 15 Series: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 14 Series: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 13 Series: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 12 Series: iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 11 Series: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max
- Other Models: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone SE (2nd generation or later)
