Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta Quest 3 mixed reality headset has gone on sale, slashed by $100 off down to an all-time low on Amazon.ca.
The 128GB version is priced at $549.96, which is an all-time low on Amazon.ca. The Meta Quest 3 launched last October in Canada, priced at $649. The Meta Quest 2 was slashed to $279.
The Meta Quest 3, the most powerful Quest headset to date, boasts more than double the graphic processing power of the Quest 2. It features a 4K+ Infinite Display with a nearly 30% resolution increase over the Quest 2, and improved 3D audio with enhanced clarity and a 40% louder volume range.
The Touch Plus controllers provide precise, realistic interactions, while Direct Touch allows navigation using hand gestures. Users can explore over 500 immersive apps across various categories and enjoy backwards compatibility with the Meta Quest library.
Designed for maximum comfort, the Meta Quest 3 offers a customizable fit and a slimmer profile compared to the Quest 2.
Back in February, Zuckerberg explained why he believed the Quest 3 is better than Apple Vision Pro. Looking at the price along, the Quest 3 on sale is 1/11th the price of the Vision Pro, which costs a whopping $4,999 in Canada.
