Public Mobile Launches New Plans Including $29/30GB and More

Telus-owned Public Mobile recently put an end date of July 8 for its $29/40GB 4G plan, and as of today it has debuted some new plans as expected.

  • $15 talk and text
  • $20/2GB 4G (new activations only; $19/month on 90-day subscription)
  • $23/6GB 4G (new activations only; $22/month on 90-day subscription)
  • $29/30GB 4G (new activations only)
  • $34/50GB 4G 5G
  • $34/50GB 5G Canada-US
  • $40/75GB 5G Canada-US
  • $50/100GB 5G Canada-US

Gone are the following plans:

  • $21/3GB 4G
  • $29/40GB 4G

So as you can see, if you sign up for a 90-day subscription you can get a slightly cheaper monthly plan, but 1GB less data at $19/2GB, compared to the previous $21/3GB plan.

The 40GB plan is gone and sees its data cut to 30GB for the same price of $29 per month, only for new activations.

Fido also changed up its plans today with some price increases, more on that coming later.

It’s clear Black Friday is the best time to jump on a new cellphone plan.
