Rogers Giving 30GB Monthly Data Bonus to ‘Loyal’ Customers
Rogers continues to dole out data bonuses for select customers, bumping up their overall data buckets.
According to a text message received by iPhone in Canada reader Yoshi yesterday, Rogers said, “hello, we want to give you an extra 30GB of data every month for the next 24 months to thank you for your loyalty—absolutely free.”
The extra data bonus isn’t applied automatically, however. Rogers says you need to sign into MyRogers, find the exclusive offer and click “get this offer”. This deal is being sent out to select customers and expires August 23, 2024.
Yoshi says they are currently on a $44/60GB 5G plan, with a $5 credit for pre-authorized payments, and received the text message offer on Wednesday. The data bonus bumps their plan to $44/90GB, which should be more than enough for the average user.
You may want to check your text messages or sign into MyRogers to see if you have any special data bonuses.
We continue to see Rogers and other wireless carriers give out free data, bumping up data buckets and seemingly skewing StatsCan wireless pricing data, as it takes into considering the price per gigabyte on customer plans. Next month, StatsCan is set to change how it tracks telecom pricing in Canada, so let’s wait and see what the new approach will be.

I was with Bell for almost 15 years, never got something from them. I switch to a plan for 36$ 50Gb on march and I receive a email from them telling me my plan will be 41$. I switch for Telus, hoping to get some freebies like Roger’s just did …
I guess 25 years isn’t loyal enough.
Same, loyal Cantel/Rogers customer since 1987, never see these bonus offers.
All they offer is spend more money, get more data
I have "Get 140GB for $65 / month" except I don't need that many GB on my phone. What I would love to see is my home Shaw gigabit unlimited data merged with my Rogers phone. Why am I paying for two separate Internet plans with the same company?
