Xbox has revealed the assortment of games arriving throughout the first half of August 2024. While a smaller list than usual, there’s still quite a lot to sink your teeth into.
As announced via Xbox Wire, during the first few weeks of August, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can check out Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Creatures of Ava, and Mafia: Definitive Edition. The latter of which was previously revealed by Xbox.

Creatures of Ava is described as a “creature-saving” game where you’ll be tasked with exploring a world filled with alien life. You’ll learn about the creatures of Ava, leading you through a variety of ecosystems. Set on a path to save the planet from a life-consuming infection in this exciting action-adventure game from Inverge Studios.
The beloved Activision-owned Crash Bandicoot is making a break onto Xbox Game Pass. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy includes three beloved games, all remastered for modern consoles. Fans can spin and jump their way through Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.
In Mafia: Definitive Edition, players follow the rise of Tommy Angelo. As a Sicilian American cab driver, Angelo makes his way through the ranks of the Salieri crime family. The game is a faithfully recreated version of the iconic 2002 Mafia game. Featuring 4K visuals and enhanced gameplay, players can experience this crime-fueled title with newly created elements.
Last month, Microsoft announced that the price of Game Pass Ultimate will increase from $18.99 to $22.99 in Canada. More information on the Game Pass tier changes can be found here.
