We might have our first look at what could be the colours of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro lineup, according to longtime leaker Sonny Dickson.
Dickson posted an image on early Friday morning, showing what looks to be four iPhone 16 Pro dummy units, in four colours. The colours appear to be white, black, silver and a new copper/brown option. News of this copper colour was also rumoured last month.
That last option might be the iPhone’s “chocolate brown Zune” moment, for those that are old enough to remember. Microsoft’s standalone portable MP3 player, the Zune, released in fall of 2006. The “chocolate brown” colour joined black and white versions of the MP3 player. The brown colour reminded everyone of excrement and it still does. Please Apple, don’t launch the iPhone in copper or brown.
Back in 2018, rumours of an ‘iPhone XR’ said a new brown colour was coming, but that never materialized. What colours do you want for the iPhone 16 Pro this fall?
