Apple’s iPad Air 5th generation and iPad Pro with M2 (released October 2022) has hit clearance pricing at Costco.
Right now, Costco.ca has the iPad Air 5 Wi-Fi with its 10.9-inch display with 64GB storage priced at $549.97 (item #1775678). The 256GB is on clearance at $699.97 as well.
As most people know, any Costco item with pricing ending in .97 means it’s on clearance and won’t be restocked. This pricing is cheaper than other retailers such as Best Buy at $599.99.
As of writing, stock is available for all five colours of blue, grey, pink, purple and starlight. The iPad Air 5 was released back in March 2022, but with its M1 chip, it will support Apple Intelligence features.
Also on clearance is the iPad Pro 11-inch with 512GB and M2 at $999.97. Spending $1,000 on an iPad is still crazy to me, when iPadOS is still half-baked.
Apple released a new iPad Air this year powered by M2 back in May, which starts at $799 but includes 128GB of storage. You’ll likely be better off with an M1 at this clearance pricing from Costco, unless you absolutely need the latest and greatest. Let us know if you’re going to jump on this.
