Apple lifted its reviews embargo today for its iPhone 16 series smartphones, offering a first glimpse of media reviews (temporary loaner units) ahead of this Friday’s launch.

As you can see, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are another iterative upgrade from Apple. The iPhone 16 Pro Max now offers the longest battery life to date on an iPhone, but you’ll need to pay for it. Next year’s iPhone 17 is supposed to bring some more substantial changes. We’ve seen the same iPhone design with upgrades to chips and cameras for the past handful of years. Nothing spectacular but just minimal updates for those needing upgrades.
