Microsoft 365 Support to End on Older Macs and iPhones Starting in July

Russian Content Creator Posts Unboxing of Alleged M4 MacBook Pro
Russian content creator Wylsacom has allegedly published an unboxing and hands-on video of the unannounced M4 MacBook Pro to their YouTube channel. While the legitimacy of this model is rather unsubstantiated, Wysacom does highlight some pretty in-depth upgrades for the M4 MacBook Pro.
Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman has shared the video online, which covers the entire unboxing process. Wylsacom claims that the unit was purchased within a private Facebook group. The video then goes on to outline hardware upgrades and tech specs for the M4 MacBook Pro.
Wysacom says the M4 is 25 percent faster than the M3 chipset. The M4 MacBook Pro features a 10-core CPU with Geekbench 6 results clocked by the content creator. The new MacBook Pro is also said to have the 16GB of RAM that’s been rumoured in the past. The device is also paired with three Thunderbolt 4 ports, a noticeable increase from the two Thunderbolt 3 ports of the current MacBook Pro. Finally, the base M4 MacBook Pro is shown to come in Space Black, a colour option exclusive to the M3 Pro or M3 Max chip models.
As of the time of writing, Wysacom’s video is still available to view on their YouTube channel. There’s always the chance that the video may get struck so it could be a matter of time before Apple seeks to have it removed. The M4 MacBook Pro has yet to be announced in any official capacity by Apple of yet.
There’s also the question of the legitimacy of Wysacom’s video and claims. Gurman himself went on to state that the Geekbench 6 registration is legitimate. However, the results “can be easily guessed.” Another user on X (formally Twitter) supposedly found the private Facebook group photos.
Apple is heavily rumoured to be hosting an event towards the end of the month. Similar to last year’s ‘Scary Fast’ event on October 30th, this event would likely cover the M4 chipset launch on MacBook. Last month, it was reported that M4-powered MacBook Pros were entering mass production. Four M4 Mac devices, including a new 14 and 16-inch Mac Book Pro are said to be in development for later this year.

Usually, Apple change the box to showcase new wallpapers on new models (especially when they change M chips). Each generation have their own set of wallpaper (used on Apple site but also on the box).
So, this is sadly looking fake to me!
Totally makes sense but on the other hand, if hey went through that much trouble to fake the entire video it would require relatively small effort to create a “new” nonexistent wallpaper and fix the flaw that essentially undermines the credibility.
Maybe the Macbook is real but not the box too… And we dont know how they did find the macbook and they have created or used an older box. Because the specs are aligned with rumours. So 🙂
