If you’re using the Costco mobile app in Canada, a recent update introduced some exclusive deals only found within the app.
The Costco mobile app can be used as your membership card when entering the warehouse (it includes a QR code for the new scan on entry), plus it also lets you look up your purchases in-store and online.
But now there are app-only coupons available in the Costco app, not available anywhere else. These aren’t even available in the Costco Executive membership coupon booklet that is mailed to your home.
How do you access these exclusive coupons? Launch the Costco app, tap on the ‘Account’ tab, then ‘Savings’ and then ‘Costco App Exclusive Coupon’.
You’ll then see the app-exclusive coupon. Right now it’s for a set of dinnerware for $79.99 after $20 off. You then show this coupon at the warehouse when you’re checking out to get the extra savings.
Costco says these app coupons can only be redeemed at warehouses and not online on Costco.ca. The coupons are only available in the Costco mobile app, so there’s no other way to obtain them. Unfortunately, there are no deals on poutine or the new double chunk chocolate cookie, yet.
