Camosun Chargers Games to Air on Rogers TV for 2024-25

The Camosun Chargers, in partnership with Rogers TV, will broadcast all home basketball and volleyball games for the 2024-25 season on the Rogers South Vancouver Island community channel, in B.C. Rogers TV was formerly operated by Shaw, before it was acquired by Rogers.
The partnership aims to make Chargers games more accessible to fans and expand the team’s presence in the local community. Camosun College is a community college located in Greater Victoria with two campuses (Landsdowne and Interurban).
The broadcasts will feature live commentary, instant replays, and graphics, offering an enhanced viewing experience for fans at home.
“We are excited to partner with a community-focused company like Rogers. Their commitment to bringing local sports coverage to Southern Vancouver Island is important to the Chargers, and also the Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST) league,” said Scot Cuachon, Manager of Athletics & Student Life, in a statement. “Together we look to increase the reach of our home games while making it accessible for anyone to watch.”
“Rogers TV is excited to partner with Camosun College in carrying the Chargers home basketball and volleyball game broadcasts this season,” said Paul McLellan, Rogers TV Access Coordinator. “Our South Vancouver Island community TV channel is proud to bring viewers a front row seat for local sports, where they can join us in supporting these talented collegiate athletes.”
The first broadcast will air on Friday, October 18, starting with the women’s volleyball game at 6 PM, followed by the men’s game at 8 PM.
Chargers home games will also be available for live streaming on YouTube and Rogers TV on channel 4 or 105. Fans can find full team rosters and schedules on the Chargers’ website.
Since joining the Canadian Collegiate Athletics Association (CCAA) and PACWEST conferences in 1994, the Chargers have made over 100 national and provincial championship appearances, earning more than 50 medals.
Rogers TV offers free access to local organizations, giving them a platform for coverage of sports, arts, and community events.
