Bell Offers $40/100GB Plan with Crave to Select Customers

Bell is offering an exclusive $40/month plan with 100GB of data to its existing home services customers, according to emails shared with iPhone in Canada.

The Essential Plan includes 100GB of shareable data at Bell’s fastest available 5G+ speeds, with unlimited data at reduced speeds (512 Kbps) once the cap is reached. The plan also features unlimited calling and texting within Canada, unlimited international texting, and SD video streaming.

This plan is regularly priced at $75 per month on Bell’s website, but is currently at $65 after autopay (yes, that’s new).

The emails says the plan also includes a free subscription to Crave Basic with Ads, which is worth $9.99 per month. If you factor this in, the phone plan is “theoretically” $30 per month.

This Bell offer is available for customers using their current phone and requires Autopay (preauthorized credit card payments) to access the discounted pricing.

The deal is targeted toward Bell Fibe customers with services such as Gigabit internet and Fibe TV. Clearly, this offer wants customers to switch their wireless services over to Bell. This particular iPhone in Canada reader currently has wireless services with Koodo.

With Black Friday about one month away, it’s best not to sign up for any new wireless phone plans, so you don’t miss out on bring your own device (BYOD) deals that are likely going to emerge. If you’re going to pay $40 per month, at least get US roaming data in your plan.
