Last week we told you about Quebecor’s Fizz giving away free mobile data to select customers, in the form of 40GB (two 20GB perks).
Now, it appears Fizz is giving away more than 40 GB of data for free—actually, 100 GB total.
Fizz sent an email to customers on Friday afternoon, detailing 100GB, “to you from us.” The email obtained by iPhone in Canada explains Fizz loves to reward customers with its loyalty program, which is why it’s giving away 100GB.
The company explains that the two My Rewards perks of 20GB each that we told you about above are already in customer accounts. But the extra 60GB of data will be added to your account for free on December 20, 2024 (in the form of 3 x 20GB perks).
This looks to be a way for Fizz to retain customers beyond Black Friday deals, if they want that extra 60GB of data. It remains to be seen whether that dangling of the carrot will work. Let us know in the comments if you received this email from Fizz (it was sent out on November 1).
