Silo Season 2 Premiere Now Available on Apple TV+

Silo‘s Season 2 premiere is now available to stream on Apple TV+. Today marks the return of the acclaimed post-apocalypse series.

Following a year and a half since the finale of the inaugural season, Silo is back for a new 10-episode run. Starring Rebecca Ferguson, Silo is an adaptation of writer Hugh Howey’s trilogy of novels, titled Wool, Shift, and Dust.

Silo is based on the dystopian future where a remaining community of civilization live in underground bunkers that extends hundreds of storeys beneath the surface of the Earth. 10,00 members of the community survive together and live by strict regulations placed upon them.

From the Season 2 description: “Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”

Silo also stars Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Avi Nash and Chinaza Uche. The series is created by Graham Yost, who also serves as a writer on several episodes as well as executive producer alongside Ferguson.

New episodes of Silo debut on Apple TV+ each Friday. The season concludes on January 17th, 2025.

Apple TV+ is available in Canada for $12.99 per month.
