Skip Canada Reveals the Most Popular Orders of 2024

Skip Canada has revealed the country’s most frequently ordered meals and trends of 2024. As the Winnipeg-based online food delivery service supports orders from coast to coast, it’s time yet again to see how trends have landed throughout the year.
According to data revealed by Skip, butter chicken is Canada’s most frequently ordered dish. Funny enough, this is the second year in a row that butter chicken has held the top spot on Skip’s most-ordered dish list in Canada. The company goes on to reveal that freeze-dried candy became such a viral sensation this year that orders increased by 2,310 percent, with it becoming a favourite in Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
Other notable trends include Winnipeg losing the crown for ‘Slurpee capital of the World’ this year to Alberta, which accounted for 38 percent of all Slurpee orders in Canada. Then, for the most impressive Skip order of 2024, someone in BC spent $504 on a bottle of tequila on top of $440 worth of sushi in the same order.
