Telus Turns Black Friday Deals Into Support for Youth in Need

Telus is changing how Black Friday works again this year by launching a new “Buy One Give One” (BOGO+) promotion, while also supporting youth in need.
From November 29 to December 1, when a customer buys a phone, Telus will give a phone and a free plan to a young person aging out of foster care through its Mobility for Good program.
This program looks to provide support to youth who might not otherwise have access to mobile technology, which is crucial for staying connected, finding jobs, and accessing services. Telus is also reusing devices to reduce waste and promote sustainability.
The BOGO+ offer is available online, by phone, and in select stores. Telus told iPhone in Canada its customers can enjoy new tech, while knowing their purchase helps someone in need. The company ran the same promotion last year as well.
