Halifax-based Eastlink first launched TiVo for its television customers four years ago and earlier this year debuted its TiVo Stream mobile app, building on the debut of the latter in 2023.
But when the mobile app launched, it was only for mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad. However, that recently changed as Eastlink has quietly debuted a new app for Apple TV, Google TV and Fire TV, according to iPhone in Canada readers.
The Eastlink TiVo Stream app lets you watch live TV, OnDemand content, and your recordings anytime. You can easily search for shows and schedule recordings as well. The app also lets you search across TV, Netflix, Prime Video, and Eastlink OnDemand for a streamlined viewing experience.
Users can record individual shows or set up a OnePass to capture every episode of your favourite series automatically. Additionally, the app’s ‘What to Watch’ screen provides personalized recommendations based on your preferences.
