Alleged iPhone 17 Pro Leak Likely Based on This Fake Sketch

Jon Prosser from Front Page Tech claims to have seen the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro, describing a redesigned camera bar with lenses positioned on the left side and an LED flash, microphone, and LiDAR scanner stacked vertically on the right.
He also noted a two-tone finish, with the camera bar appearing darker than the rest of the rear shell, resembling current Google Pixel designs.
However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman dismissed the leak, stating that the renders circulating on YouTube are based on a fake sketch from late January. Leaker Majin Bu had previously shared a similar image on January 24, saying designers he consulted believed it to be fake, though it might reflect Apple’s ongoing design tests.
I received an image of an alleged CAD of iPhone 17 Pro, I showed it to some designers to try to understand if the image was real and they told me that their warning is a fake. Even if it is fake it should reflect what are the CAD of the models currently being tested pic.twitter.com/40ETreYQyg

With conflicting reports, the legitimacy of this alleged iPhone 17 Pro design remains uncertain.
Prosser’s video is below, and likely will rack up a tonne of views based on his supposed leak. Once we get closer to September, we’ll start seeing leaks of actual dummy units that will reveal final designs. It happens every year and of course people are trying to get ahead of the first legitimate leaks from Apple’s supply chain. What do you think of this crazy rear camera bar on the back, if true?
