HBO’s hit series The White Lotus is back, and its Season 3 premiere on Sunday night shattered streaming records on Bell Media’s Crave.
According to Bell Media, the premiere doubled the viewership of Season 2’s premiere within its first three days. The show has been super popular with its mix of dark humour, social satire and pretty cool scenery.
The hype for the new season also sparked renewed interest in past episodes, with viewership for Seasons 1 and 2 jumping 66% in the week leading up to the premiere, said Bell.
So what’s new in Season 3? The White Lotus heads to a Thai resort, where a new group of wealthy guests and hotel staff navigate drama, secrets, and scandal over one chaotic week of course.
The cast features Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Lisa from Blackpink (Lalisa Manobal), Parker Posey, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. It’s too bad Stifler’s mom isn’t back for Season 3.
We really enjoyed the first two seasons of The White Lotus and we will wait for a few more episodes of the third season before starting a little binge-fest.
