Public Mobile Just Switched Up its 4G Plans, Yet Again

Telus-owned Public Mobile continues to tweak and revamp its 4G plan pricing and on Monday, it did some minor changes to revisions we told you about last week.

For 4G Canada-wide plans, the $23 plan with 4GB (it was increased from 1GB last week) has been eliminated. Instead, a new $24 plan takes its place, at $1 more than before. But now there’s a new $20/1GB plan as well:

It’s clear Public Mobile is offering up a variety of dizzying price points to force consumers to pick the best (or more expensive plan) plan that offers better value. Why not just pay a few bucks more to get more data, right?

For 5G plans, the rates as of today are as follows:

Who knows what’s coming next, but we’ll continue to share with you all the changes.

The low cost plans are mostly for new activations. Note that all support is online. There is also no wifi calling. Public Mobile meets my needs. For a $10 credit to your account at activation with Public Mobile use referral code V9K35M.
