Apple CEO Teases MacBook Air Launching This Week

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported on Sunday a new M4 MacBook Air was imminent this week, and on Monday morning, Apple CEO Tim Cook looks to have confirmed the new update is indeed coming.
Cook posted on Monday morning saysing, “this week,” followed by a video that showed text saying “there’s something in the air.” You have to be pretty daft to not see this is about the M4 MacBook Air, or even possibly a new iPad Air. But the “there’s something in the air” is from Apple’s original 2008 MacBook Air announcement (Steve Jobs taking the thin laptop out of a manila envelope).

As of writing, the older M2 MacBook Air starts at $1,299 in Canada. The M3 MacBook Air starts at $1,449. With the low Loonie right now, will we see some local price increases in Canada for the next MacBook Air? iPhone 16e pricing shows us anything is possible (starting at $899 CAD with a 1.50 exchange rate).
Also right now, Apple has an extra trade-in bonus for Macs as we told you yesterday. Have you been waiting for the M4 MacBook Air?
