Rogers and Telus Cut Prices and Unveil New Mobile Plans

Two weeks ago, we told you about how Telus had lowered the price of its 100GB plan, and now we are seeing even more changes from the company, alongside Rogers as well.

Here are the plans from Rogers, Telus and Bell as of March 12, 2025:

Rogers

  • $50/100GB (was $60)
  • $60/150GB (was $70/175GB) Canada-US
  • $75/200GB (was $90) Canada-US-Mexico

As you can see, Rogers lowered plans by $10 and $15 respectively. But the $60 plan also saw its data reduce by 25GB, but now also includes Canada-US talk, text and data. Prices are of course after an automatic payments discount.

Telus

  • $49/100GB
  • $60/100GB
  • $60/150GB Canada-US (new)
  • $65/125GB
  • $65/150GB Canada-US
  • $70/150GB Canada-US
  • $75/200GB (was $90) Canada-US-Mexico
  • $80/200GB (was $95) Canada-US-Mexico

As for Telus, it continues to have a dizzying list of bring your own device plans. The $60/150GB Canada-US plan is new, while the 200GB Canada-US-Mexico plans saw a $15/month price drop. Of course these prices shown are after a $5 pre-authorized payment discount.

Bell (no changes; includes autopay discount)

  • $60/100GB
  • $90/200GB Canada-US-Mexico

As for Bell, no major changes at all to match its rivals. It still continues to offer just two mobility-only plans. The Bell website did get a bit of a redesign to ensure tracking changes remains a tricky task. Bell will likely have to match Telus and Rogers soon. Stay tuned.

Last month also saw Rogers increase its connection fee to $75, while also increasing the price of its daily roaming plans for travel.

Telus are rip off artists! I accepted a offer after they harrased me over and over and over and over didn't use the Sim cards 2 Sim cards never activated 2 months later got a bill for 560+ dollars. Never in my life have I paid that never will I, I said. Bout 2 years later it's 900+ in collection. They still call me wanting me to join telus cellular service. Talked to 90 different people and no one helped me. Don't fall for telus they harass you and will ding you. I know older people that fall for there scams. I feel sorry for there employees! Dealing with me while management and ceo's hide away like panzy's.

Don't answer the phone when they call, that's what I do.
