Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy Concert Coming to Toronto in 2026

The ‘Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy’ orchestral concert tour is finally making its way to Toronto in early 2026. Two recently added shows have been announced for January 30th and January 31st.
The official account for the concert tour announced on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “This upcoming January, we will be in your city at Meridian Hall!” The Toronto tour dates will be the second Canadian spot for Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy. This summer, the tour will stop in Vancouver, BC to play a show on July 11.
Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy celebrates the in-game soundtrack and music of composer Masayoshi Soken. Playing fan-beloved songs from Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XVI, Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy will be led by conductor Arnie Roth and played by the Ontario Philharmonic Orchestra. Amanda Archen, who lent her voice as vocalist for Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XVI will also join the stage. “This exciting program also features iconic works by Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, Yoko Shimomura, and other great composers,” the description reads.
During the concert, HD video created by publisher Square Enix will be played on screen. This video has been curated and created specifically for this tour.
Tickets for the Toronto shows will go live on May 5th at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT. VIP Meet and Greet tickets will also be available to purchase. These tickets give attendees the chance to meet Roth, Achen, and original composer Masayoshi Soken, who will be in attendance during the two performances.
