Fido Changes Plan Pricing Again, Virgin Plus Adds 80GB Plan

Here we go again. Yesterday we told you about how Fido and Virgin Plus revamped their plans and today we’re seeing more changes yet again.

Fido has increased prices by $5 for its $60GB and 80GB plans, back to what they were last week, but international long distance is absent. Here are the plans as of today after automatic payments discount:

  • $37.50/20GB
  • $44/60GB (was $39)
  • $54/80GB (was $55)

As for Virgin Plus, yesterday it was down to just a $39/20GB plan, but today it has added an 80GB plan to match Fido and Koodo. Here are its plans:

  • $39/20GB
  • $55/80GB
  • $25 talk and text; $19/250MB and $39/3GB plans with 3G data

What about Koodo? No changes. Here are the plans as of today:

  • $25 pay-per-use data
  • $39/60GB (there’s an unlimited long distance perk)
  • $54/80GB

Yesterday, we also saw how Telus and Koodo revised their automatic payments discount, now only offering the savings when you set up a pre-authorized debit card payment, and not credit card.
