Spotify says global streams of The Pointer Sisters’ 1986 track “Hot Together” spiked by a whopping 182,000% within two hours of Rockstar’s second Grand Theft Auto VI trailer release.

According to an email sent to iPhone in Canada today, fans raced to replay songs featured in the highly anticipated preview.

“Grand Theft Auto cuts through popular culture like almost nothing else,” said Sulinna Ong, Spotify’s Global Head of Editorial. “Music has been synonymous with the series since the very beginning.”

The trailer has reignited interest in several featured tracks. Zenglen’s “Child Support” and Tammy Wynette’s “Talkin’ to Myself Again” saw streaming boosts of 5,100% and 2,300%, respectively.

Spotify saw a similar surge after the first GTA VI trailer, which featured Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road.” That song jumped 37,000% in global streams following its appearance in the teaser.

Fans can explore the official Grand Theft Auto Radio playlist now streaming on Spotify.
