Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2 Announced With 12 Global Stops

Kojima Productions has announced the Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2, a 12-stop global celebration for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Announced by the studio and famed developer Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2 will travel the world, allowing fans to celebrate with “special guests and events” at each stop. Unfortunately, as of the time of writing, we don’t know who the special guests may be. However, it stands to reason that Kojima may appear at a couple of the stops, as well as actors from the game.

Here are the announced dates and global destinations for the Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2.

  • June 8 – Los Angeles
  • June 14 – Sydney
  • June 26 – Tokyo
  • June 28 – Paris
  • June 30 – London
  • July 4 – Seoul
  • July 6 – Taipei
  • July 9 – Hong Kong
  • July 12 – Shanghai
  • August – Riyadh
  • October – São Paulo
  • November – Lucca

The June 26 stop lands on the official release date of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach on PlayStation 5. Of course, it is also the home base location for Kojima Productions, so expect more glitz and glam for the Japan stop of the Death Stranding World Strand Tour 2.

Unfortunately, there will not be a stop in Canada for fans to celebrate at. However, in 2026, the Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony concert will make its way to the country. Partnering with SOHO Live, the concert experience will incorporate Ludvig Forssell’s original soundtrack as well as tracks from Low Roar. The Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony concert arrives in Montreal on March 26 and Toronto on March 28th.

In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, players will reunite with Sam Bridges as he embarks on a new mission to reunite and connect the last vestiges of civilization. Journeying beyond the UCA, Sam is accompanied by new faces. However, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach begs the question: Should we have connected?

Why Lucca? I assuming it’s the one in Tuscany, Italy.
