Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition DualSense Controller Launching June 26

PlayStation and Kojima Productions have revealed the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Limited Edition DualSense controller. The new PlayStation 5 DualSense will release alongside the game on June 26.

As revealed via the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation has collaborated with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach studio Kojima Productions to develop a new limited edition DualSense controller. Offering all the bells and whistles you’d expect from the PlayStation 5 controller, this model offers a design inspired by the upcoming game.

The Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Limited Edition DualSense controller features the insignia and motto of Drawbridge, the civilian company founded by Fragile in the game. There are also other small orange designs across the controller’s face.

Pre-orders for the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Limited Edition DualSense controller will launch on May 22. In the US, the controller will be available for $84.99. While Canadian pricing has yet to be confirmed, similar limited edition DualSense controllers have been released for $99.99 in Canada. The controller will then launch on June 26 alongside the full release of the game. However, those who preorder the Collector’s Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition will be able to claim Early Access from June 24.

In a separate PlayStation Blog post, it’s revealed that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach sees players pick up with Sam Bridges 11 months after the original game. While in Mexico, Sam gets thrown into a journey that takes him to Australia, where he must once again reconnect society. The blog post goes on to detail the new locations, new weapons, and the new day and night cycle within the game.
